Olivia and Peter’s wedding was held at Glen Albyn Estate, Tasmania on a beautiful February day that was unforgettable.
A wooden floor terrace situated on a scenic vantage point was the romantic setting for the marriage between two people. An intimate wedding, their day was filled with smiles and joy and you can find all the magical details from their day right here.
The Bride
Olivia was a relaxed bride with the usual bubbling nerves of anticipation. A gorgeous wife-to-be whose smile would light up every photo and every moment from the day.
She wore a beautiful wedding dress featuring soft lace flower appliqué and crystal beading which flowed into a chapel length train. Fabric buttons adorned the back of the gown.
Paired with a waterfall, fingertip veil, her hair was styled to the side and swept into a low up do finished with pearl accessories.
She carried an exquisite bouquet of flowers in whites, frosted pinks and deepest reds and maroons complemented by stunning silver gum foliage.
The Groom
Groom Peter wore a white shirt with navy dress pants and matching vest. His outfit was accessorised with a maroon bow tie, tan shoes and finished with a frosted pink rose boutonniere.
The Ceremony
Olivia’s father was the proud bearer of his daughter as he delivered her to her soul mate who was awaiting her hand at the end of the aisle.
On the riverview deck at Glen Albyn Estate, with the romantic wedding tree and River Derwent to one side and guests on the other, Olivia and Peter became husband and wife and were ushered into the commitment of marriage.
Celebrant Tara Belette joined the two in adoring matrimony.
Mr & Mrs
The reception was also held at Glen Albyn Estate in a space which carried an atmosphere of beauty, transporting guests to a special realm of splendour and wonder.
From the underlit flooring, to the tables lined with transparent tiffany chairs, to the show stopping, hanging masterpiece of vibrant green hanging foliage intertwined with suspended lighting; every detail was perfect for their perfect day.
The beautiful three-tiered, white cake was styled with charming clusters of pinecones, baby’s breath and foliage which sat atop a raw cut tree stump crafted by Peter.
There were lots of smiles, there were laughs and under a canopy of lights the couple had their first dance to Maroon 5’s Memories.
The dance floor was the place to be as everyone sprang to life to enjoy the music and celebratory mood.
Through The Lens
(What I’ll always remember about Olivia & Peter’s day)
Olivia & Peter’s day was such a wonderful wedding. It was definitely one of my favourites and Olivia spent a great deal of time planning every beautiful detail before the big day. Everything ran smoothly and the day was relaxing and love filled.
Olivia and Peter may your love live on forever. May you always let the music move you, let the dancing fulfill you and let love and joy overflow.
