Jamie and Corey created a wedding day filled with meaningful moments and special memories at the historic Brookfield shed in Margate, Tasmania.
The Bride and Groom said I do in a relaxed and inviting setting where the precious value of life was celebrated. Wedding guests soaked in the intimate ceremony that connected friends and family for one common cause L.O.V.E
The Bride, Jamie wore a beautiful mermaid style, floor length gown with exquisite lace detail. The plunging neckline and deep cut back with illusion straps created a beautiful look and the embroidered, scalloped lace hem created the statement every bride looks for in a showstopping gown.
Jamie’s hair was styled into an up do with a piece of baby’s breath gracefully set in the style. Her fingertip veil and elegant tear drop earrings highlighted the beauty of the bride’s dress.
As an expression of individuality and a pop of fun, Jamie’s look was finished with a pair of flat leopard print sandals.
The Bridesmaids graced the aisle in powder pink dresses featuring high neck lines of lace with cross over, floor length skirts. They matched the bride with a piece of baby’s breath finishing their hair styles.
The bridal party carried bouquets arranged with magenta roses, powder pink peonies and baby’s breath complemented with blue grey gum leaf.
Groom Corey and his Groomsmen wore black suits with white shirts and powder pink ties.

The couple chose a wedding venue where both the ceremony and reception could go ahead, allowing the festivities to remain in one location.
The Bridal party arrived in an assortment of vintage cars and the Bride beamed as she proudly walked down the aisle on the arm of the first man she ever knew, her father. Jamie’s dad soaked in his traditional and symbolic role of giving his daughter away to her husband-to-be.
When it was time for the ceremony, the loving couple stood before an arbour designed and hand-made by Corey. The striking geometric structure was styled with white tulle and stunning floral arrangements in hues of pink, white and green.
Adding an arbour to any wedding location creates a statement and adds to the visual setting. It becomes the focal point for the ceremony and creates a beautiful visual aesthetic for not only wedding photographers but also for guests to enjoy whilst they wait for the bride to arrive.
The Bride and Groom declared their vows in a very moving ceremony officiated by Celebrant Colleen Frost. Emotions spilled over as Groom Corey said his vows to Bride Jamie with one of their boys so deeply moved by the moment, he tearfully hugged his mum (the Bride) as Corey spoke words of love and affirmation to her.
It’s the unscripted moments of raw emotion that remind everyone (even photographer’s and celebrants who attend weddings all the time) that marriage is not just two people coming together but also families and friends uniting. Through the couple’s decision to marry they are also transforming the future of their loved ones.
The reception followed immediately after the ceremony where guests enjoyed an array of grazing platters.
The gorgeous two-tiered wedding cake was adorned with flowers and a gold Mr & Mrs cake topper.

(What I’ll always remember about Jamie & Corey’s day)
Jamie & Corey’s wedding was a very special day filled with meaning.
Prior to the ceremony, Jamie’s loving husband-to-be, Corey gifted the girl of his dreams with a personalised, fold out, photo memory box. It was filled with captured moments that are precious to them as a couple and personally to Jamie.
The arbour was beautifully crafted and I appreciate the time and effort that goes into making something for the big day. I am certain Mr & Mrs Smith will look back on their photos with such love knowing the focal point of the ceremony was handmade by Corey.
And finally, I will never forget the moving moment during the vows when everyone was brought to tears.
Thank you, Jamie and Corey for the gift of being present at your wedding. I will hold a piece of your special day in my heart forever.
