Helene and Laurent prepared for their wedding ceremony in a beautiful secluded home at Acton Park near Hobart. We were there to capture the bridesmaids helping Helene into her wedding dress, also capturing some photos at home prior to leaving for the ceremony.
Helene looked absolutely stunning in her long sleeve wedding dress and full-length veil. We took the opportunity to capture a few special moments around the secluded property before heading off to Glen Albyn Estate. During the shoot, unexpectedly, a huge gust of wind blew Helene’s veil high into the air until eventually landing high among the treetops. It took some time and a bit of climbing to retrieve Helene’s veil. And yes, the tree lost a few limbs, however the rescue mission was successful in retrieving the veil, only slightly damaged.
After a slight delay in leaving for the ceremony, Helene arrived to make her grand entrance. The weather held off nicely, with just a little wind the clouds opened up and the sun made an appearance.
The ceremony was conducted by the lovely Jill Harper, and personalised by the happy couple. After the ceremony, we used the weather to our advantage and captured more beautiful moments of the newlyweds. Then at the reception inside Glen Albyn which was stunningly styled.
I would personally like to thank Helene and Laurent for allowing me to capture their special day and entrusting me to deliver memories that will last forever.
